Default need help to make my exhuast quiet , any ideas???

well here is my story. im gona be driving my 94 Dx all the way from Minnesota to California. i have a full catback on it, headers, no cat, and a loud *** exhuast. i tryed putting a silencer on there but silencers dont really do anything. i was woundering if i put just the stock muffler on there, you know from the axel back, will that help my loud exhaust problem?? or does anymore have any other ideas that dont involve putting the entire stock exhuast system back on.

stock axleback probably won't bolt up to the aftermarket.

I'd suggest putting a highflow cat on, adding a big *** Magnaflow resonator and using an ES/Magnaflow oval muffler. It should still flow decently but not be crazy loud

Resonator. What I did was try and try and try. I ended up with a 12" just after the cat. It made a big difference.

if you use a stock axle back it will be quiet. You 'll have to modify the flanges though. or you'll have to add a resonator. Either way, you have to modify the exhaust, i say you modify the stock axle back to fit and then you can change it from stock to what you ahve now whenever you want.
