Default Custom made intake filter box and battery holder opinions??

i've recently been workin on a little something for my car...tryin to give it a little bit of a different look...customized this to shield to protect from heat and to hold the odyssey battery. hope you like it

everything was homemade....home depot...sheet metal bending machine and creativity...still a prototype i would like to improve a little more...and the area below the battery can i take it out where the old battery tray was

yeah, it's looks a lil. ruff. search for the Weapon R intake shield, looks almost the same but nicer & polished.

well i didnt expect it to be perfect on the first try...i wanted to get the baselines down just to see if everything fit where it should, what needs to modified and work from there....y buy something when it can be made to your individual standards?

appreciate the input any other suggestions would be welcome

not bad. when you get a final clean cut copy send it out and get it anodized and maybe engraved with something meaningful to you. I think that would look nice.

how long do those batteries generally last?
as a daily driver? I've read up on it and for the specs, it states it has a 24min reserve time. Would having something like an alarm kill it?

haha... nah it's not even like that.

but back on topic... i had access to a welder for mine. too bad the welder was acting up. i had to grind the welds off.

damn man...that came out really nice...would you still be able to make any more like that? if i were to give you the specs could you make it with the same little pocket to hold the battery? let me know man...you dont have to take down it's all good i appreciate the input as well

any pics of where the intake tube comes out of that box? did you use some sort of rubber gasket to make sure there was little to no air/transfer from the engine bay into teh box?

I saw that one @ires had a while back.. wish i coudl pick one up...

I doubt it would since that port is pointing down & @ries isn't speed-racing thru mountain passes during typhoons or crossing streams. In other words, gravity is keeping water out, I'm assuming. I was going to go this route, but just added an elbo to my SRI(DC) & made it into a CAI. BTW, I love @ries' Lude!
