chipped sohc ecu work on dohc?
I got a 94 accord with a 95 jdm h22a. Its has a p13 as of now unchipped. The kid originally had a jdm f22b boosted with low compression heads running on a P75 so the ecu says. But he had it rechipped and hondata programmed. Well he says it was a p28 and on top of the ecu it says p28 hondata ready. Question is if its really a p75 thats for a sohc non vtec correct? If its a p28 it can work with the h22a correct? How can I tell which it is? If I hook up the ecu and start the car will my vtec not work if its a p75? And if it is non vtec can it do damage if I hook it up and see if in fact it is a p28 with vtec? Or is there a way to see on the ecu that vtec is on by the connectors? Thanks a lot appreciate any opinions and knowledge. Obviously it won't be tuned right and I understand that in the event it does work but at least I know I have a chipped ecu I can use or maybe not use.
