I had my driver side floor latch replaced under warranty, but the dealer said the non retracting belt was not covered.

but I read of many of you getting them replaced for free

how did you do that?

I had them replace the seatbelts in my '89 CRX free.....just for slack like you're saying. Didn't have to put up a fight at all. Mention that it's loose when you drive, and you don't think they would secure you in an accident. You feel unsafe right?
