Default low oil pressure at start up?

hey yea we had a bad ice storm this week and i been drivi an suv. i have been starting my prelude with a jdm h22 swap everyday to let it run and warm up. the past couple days that i have started it it starts and the oil pressure light stays on for about 5 to 10 seconds. it then shuts off. is it normal for it to have low oil pressure when its like 0 degrees outside? it has 10 w 30 oil in it.

yes as the oil is thick and sitting at the bottom of the oil pan it takes a moment to start moving. its worse if you run a cheap filter with a defective anti drain back valve too.

You should get some 5w20 if you haven't already. Sounds like you're in a fairly cold area
