Help: Got a couple of problems with the car... (JDM h22 )
Car is an 99 EK w/ a JDM h22a swap OBD1
1. Car is getting really bad gas mileage
2. Fumes from the exhuast is creeping into the cabbin and smells like crap
3. A lot of white smoke when starting the car first time in the morning
4. A friend says black smoke shoots out when im flooring it
5. When car is fully warmed up, the idle is around 1000, is that normal or am i trippin?
Some of the mods i have...
310 rc injectors
Intake
2.25 inch piping + muffler tip
EVERYTHING ELSE IS STOCK...

Any cels? White smoke is no good, black crap out the back is normal while in WOT, its usually carbon buildup freeing up. Have you done a compression/leak down test? Sounds like you might be burning oil.

What ecu are you running?
OBD1 injectors are 345cc and the obd1 p13 ecu is for 345cc injectors. Why did you downgrade to 310cc's?

i actually bought the car that way w/ the 310 injectors. Ill do a compression test ASAP. Anything else i should look for?

check cel codes
sounds like you have a compression leak or something to that effect if youre getting both kinds of smoke out the pipe. lol damn.
it just needs some tlc.
if it was me id at least go down as far as the piston rings.
thats just my opinion.
but a tune would help it a lot.
rotor, plugs, plug wires, fuel oil and air filters, that ****.
