i want to run a itr ecu and it's imoblizer

question has anyone ever installed an imoblizer in a ek?

i got a 97

 

yeah, what do you need to know?

 

whats needed ?

 

you need a ecu, key, ignition.
the key has to match the ignition, while ignition match the ecu.

i figure i can get the ecu , get a key from acura nad have them program the key to the ecu but i need to know how to install the black box thing and wire up for imoblizer

you mean the Imobiliser board?

 

im talking abou tthe ingition setup

 

if you use a book from a car that has the IMO in it. wirie it up the same...
ehh hope that helps. i think the box is just a relay of some type.

 

honestly i want to just use a us spec itr ecu but the imobilizer is a issue and i cant find a way to bypass it with no CEL but cant find the info i did once before

 

the IMMO-AO ... the itr... is the only one you can bypass. well you can bypass the others, but people like blundar will not tell anyone how to. they think its preventing theifs. but tis not, its cheaper for a theif to just get a jumper and a obd1 ecu.
use the itr if you want, that web site will tell you how to bypass it, i can do it for you if needed.

no not if it is working properly. meaning hooked up right.

or disabled properly, w/ that board from doctron.
