yes, it is annoying....
after a simple SEARCH, i found this:
"All new users are assigned to 'Trial User' status. For the first 20 days of their membership, trial users are only authorized to post 5 times in any 24 hour period. They are also not allowed to select their own avatars.
Trial members can be identified by their 'Trial User' title, and the obvious Trial User avatar under their name.
After the 20 days trial period and 20 post trial limit, if the user still has a 95% or above user rating, the system will automatically upgrade the account to full access with no restrictions."
