Default Tire size and speed sensor question.

Hey I was just wondering if anyone would happen to know whaat size these tires are. I'm assuming they are smaller than stock. And when you do go with smaller tires, how much will this throw off the speed sensor?

im gonna guess that the tire size is 205/40/16 and they are not smaller then stock.... the sidewall is smaller but if you were to take the tire and but it up too a stock one it should be the same

when i ran 16's on my civic the speddo wasent off by a very noticeable amount

That car is stunning.

USDM ITR wheels are 15's. That looks like a really low sidewall. I'd say 205/40/15. And I doubt you'll notice ANY change in your speedo with such a minimal change.

i've never seen a 205/40/15 tire in my life, i don't think anybody even makes that size, and if they do, it's not common

they're 195/50/15's

http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html figure out the difference here, my current set up makes my speedo 3.1% too fast (might help me actually do the speed limit)
