will a series engine bolt up to any other trannies?
are the 86-89 accord a series engines compatible with H or F transmissions from newer accords/preludes?
i'm looking for a useable IRON honda block (dont ask why) that will work with a SOHC d16 trans. bisimoto makes an adaptor kit for the h/f to use with a sohc D trans.. is the tranny bolt pattern the same on the A series?

yeah, i'm thinking about dropping the idea. iron block=strong, but weird bolt pattern=too much hassle.
