Steering Wheel: Elliptical Orbit?
I am out right now going over my new used hand-me-down / birthday-present 1995 Integra LS 4-door ( gotta love wireless ethernet and laptops; I'm writing this in the middle of the yard in the driver's seat ), and when I turned the steering wheel rapidly I noticed that is has a bit of an "elliptical orbit". If my eyes aren't playing tricks on me, when I look at the wheel it looks like a perfect circle. But when I turn it and watch the part of the wheel in front of my vision at the moment, the wheel does not spin like a perfect circle would spin around it's centerpoint. It spins like a wobbly circle. If anyone can decipher my blabbering, is this normal? Or is the steering wheel somehow broken? It doesn't seem to be broken; everything works fine.

I understand what you are saying. I have never noticed this personally, but I think many steering wheels are not a perfect circle. Check out some of the after market steering wheels. Some are not even close to being round.
Can someone please go out to their car and drive a bit and twist the steering wheel around and see what happens?
To clarify, I think the wheel itself is a circle. When it turn it though, it seems to have a wobbly orbit. I want to find out if the steering is off-center and if that is a) bad or b) normal, or if the steering wheel is just not actually a circle ( my eyes playing a trick on me? )
Should I worry?

Just a word of advice, but I don't think it's good for your tires to spin you wheel while your car is parked...Atleast, that's what I hear...
