Default Falken RT-615

i've done a search and i can't find anything other than how they look and what sizes to get. but my question is:

How many miles do i expect to get out of these tires? I've read a lot of reviews on this tire and some say 5,000 and others say 10-12,000? They're going on a 99 civic and the measurements are 205/40/16. It's strickly a weekend/drag car and a few other events that i might be able to make it to.

I'm not normally an agressive driver but in spring and summer when i drive it i might put about 8-9 thousand miles on them....will they last me that long or will i have to buy another set at about mid summer? and my car see's very little rain and absolutely no snow so i'm not worried about wet driving conditions too much.

thanks

Different size, 205/50-15s, but I had mine on for 6k street miles, 1 HPDE at Streets of Willow, and 3 autocrosses, and had worn them to 50%. I would guestimate 12k useable street miles, but after that, they're still good for track use. I wouldn't run a tire with less than 2/32" of tread on the street, you never know when there will be water, sand, something the tread needs to be there for. But, for autocross or HPDE purposes, you can run them bald.

205/40-16 is the wrong size for a 99 Civic, isn't it? Thats the size I'm currently running for autocross use on my Integra, but I daily drive the correct size of 205/45-16.

you need a 205/45r16 for a 99 civic and normal wear and tear is about 10-12k

It doesn't come in 205/45-16.

For 16" wheels on your car, get it in 215/45-16.
