Default I think I just made a bad decision

well I regretably bid on some skunk2 coilovers for my 03 ex, upon doing some research on this thread, I've seen that people only had bad experiences with squeaking on turns and so on and so forth... Are they really that bad?

You bid on coilover sleeves? If you get them I'd suggest getting new shocks too, because if you don't your stock ones are going to blow.

if u bid on actual coilovers , id keep em

If u bid on coilover sleeves, get rid of them. So many people have had crappy reviews.

If u are going to get Coil Over sleeves, get Ground COntrols, and get Koni Yellows to match.

Coilover sleeves alone will blow ur stock shocks REAL quick, and give u a less than enjoyable ride.

GC's + Konis> Teins from what ive heard.

Didnt boiler have teins before he went to GC's and Koni's.

Regardless, Most competative guys are using GC's and Koni's at the track.

Teins will make a great daily driver tho.

Prices from dezod.com

GC's = $339.00
Koni's = $736.66
Total = $1075.66

vs

Tein Basics = $1,081.60

So its basically up to personal choice. Im sure u will be happy with either.

Okay, so which would be better in your opinion? Koni's and GC or Tein Flex package

also, how would you say the Koni's and GC's would be for a daily driver? has anyone on here ever made a daily drive with the koni and GC setup?

Coilovers = Come with shocks.

GC Coilover sleeves, dont come with shocks.
If u used these with stock shocks, yes they would kill them FAST. But thats y u get Koni's, as they are made to work with the lower spring.

cheap coilovers = **** quality. the tein look alikes might not fit - you'll just have to try.

how much did you pay anyways?

The tein look a like are supposed to be garbage.

STOP WAISTING UR MONEY! Buy some used H&R's or used REAL teins!

Cheap products are always garbage!

And i would think the LAST place u would want to put cheap products is on your suspension, this will make u HATE how ur car rides, and handles.

We've already instructed u on what to buy, so i have NO sympathy for u buying a crappy part.

And if u cant afford $200 name brand lowering springs, then dont buy any at all!
