Removing radiator fan ( related to changinging lower radiator hose)
ok the easest way that i found out to replace the lower radiator hose is by removing the radiato fan. there are 2 screws holding it down and a conector. i got the 2 srews out but i cant disconect the connector because i dont have enough clearance to get my hands in and i cant see how to disconect it. can anyone help me?
there is actually a 3rd screw at the bottom of the fan in the middle...at least there was on mine, ive got a 95 lx. the easiest way to get to it is from under the car. my bumper was already off, you might just have to remove the splash guard from under the bumper and you should be able to get to it. that may allow you to get to the connector as well. Just a thought though, as long as the splash guard is off you should be able to reach the clamp on the hose, so taking the fan out might not even be necessary.
i saw the srew u were talking about but mine for some reason wasnt tightened. the only thing holding the radiator down now is the conector. im afraid 2 damage it. and i cant get a good enough look 2 see how 2 disconect it
