? 1989 Accord AT slips when changing gears - is this normal?
My 1989 Accord slips and the engine revs up quite a bit (sometimes over 1000 RPM) when shifting through the gears. When I drive like a granny it's not too bad, If I'm getting on it at all it's really bad. Is this a bad thing? I changed the AT fluid using Dexron III and the TV cable is pretty tight, MAYBE a LITTLE play but not a lot at all. What else can I do?
honda auto trannies go bad...they aren't the greatest trannies ever...might need to fact the facts....
how many miles are on it?
how many miles are on it?
Read the question again: "My tranny is slipping...is this normal?" Duh!
