Default Yes another intake question tried search found no conclusive info.

Whats going on guys. I had a question for my younger brother who has a Integra Gsr and was wondering if the Ebay 1 piece Cold Air intakes perform aswell as the Aem intakes. reason i am posting in this forum is because the AEM itr intake is 3 inch in diameter and thats the one we are going to use. Thanks to Austins dyno comparison to the j's. Dyno Charts perhaps?

I'm assuming you're modifying the ITR AEM CAI to fit the GSR? The TB locations are way different.

actually no i am using a skunk2 manifold. sorry for not being specific. I know the intake will fit but was wondering if it would be worth the extra money for the AEM over a ebay 1 piece 3 inch CAI. Is there dyno prove results that show either to be better? Also here in hawaii we dont have emissions so carb is not a problem.

The problem with ebay is that you're not really sure if you're getting a 3" or a 2.75" intake. Most don't seem to specify.

Either one will suck up water.

The stock R airbox is actually pretty damn good. Since you're talking about a GS-R, I'll recommend getting the stock R baffles and intake hose and adding a K&N 2427 filter. The only thing I've seen to make more usable power is the Mugen intake, and at $600+ it's not exactly a cost-effective mod.
