Default just picked up s2k wheels for my 5th gen, doesnt fit!?

i was searching and saw alot of people running fronts on the front and rears on rear. maybe its the tire size the wheels came with?

the fronts came with 225's and rear with 245's im gunna put the 225's in the rear and get some 205 or 215's for the front

will that make it fit? right now its hitting the upper control arm

You're putting the rears on the front? That's why. The wheel itself may be too wide. Sell the rear wheels, and buy 2 more fronts. 215 all the way around would be great.

^ Why don't you lose the attitude? You're not exactly the most clear poster ever, maybe we got confused by your jumbled words? Who knows. Give us a break, we're trying to help YOU.

Fine, I guess you know everthing, since you've seen it done before. Good luck figuring it out.

Guess you really need those wider wheels in the rear... Since... Well, you know. Preludes are RWD.

to your two questions...yes, yes.

So...you're going to take the 245s off the rim and put 205s or 215s on? And why are you putting the more tire in the back? What width are the s2k wheels, 7.5? I have no idea how that would be with 205s....

I love quoting myself. I just checked, and there are some autocross guys that put 205s on 7.5 width rims. I'm sure if it's going to stand up to that, it would work on the street.

You already covered that. If you're going to get huffy when people don't answer your questions exactly, you should answer people's questions exactly.

if you're going to get all pms on us than forget about getting help. honestly, some manners would go a long way, even if it's the interweb.

i normally see ppl running the s2k rims fine w/o adjustments when they're running stock s2k size. with your attitude i doubt you'll get very far with this thread. this subject has been covered many times, try searching for it. before you even try saying it's not there, it is, just search.

Guess I'm not the only one who has a problem with the way you compose yourself on here... Maybe that means something?

Just change your attitude when you COME TO US asking a question. We're not looking at it in front of us, you may have to explain it a few different times, a few different ways to help us understand.

Guess that makes us retarded.

Um, if I read this thread correctly, the OP stated he was going to be running a set of S2K wheels. Fronts in the front, and rears in the rear. You misunderstood and then you guys get all pissy when he asks if you had read what he said. See the problem with communication over the internet is the lack of tone and meaning.

To the OP, I know a full set of S2K wheels can be run, however I don't know if it requires spacers in the rear or a different tire size. I'm sure someone on here will be able to answer your question.

well if he read my post i already answered his question. someone here is running stock s2k tire sizes on his lude. fronts in the front. rears on the rear. that would be 205/225 if im not mistaken. sooooo you put two nd two together.. and yes.. they'll fit without modifying them. at least that's what that guy said. i can't remember his name. not convinced? search ap1 s2k rims or something to that effect and you'll find his thread eventually. guess that means we're done here boys..

i dont see anything wrong with this explaination, nor did i see any attitude in his other posts in this thread.

to get back on topic, i believe you had the problem because the s2k came stock with 205's in the front and 225's in the rear and that would fit fine on the prelude, but it seems like the previous owner of the rims got wider tires front and rear. so ya, if you put the 225's on the back and 205's in the front, it would work.

i was referring to my first post brainiac. the comment you were referring to was simply me repeating what i had already stated above since ppl didn't notice. i even had it bolded for ppl like you. reading owns you again.

you simply stated stock s2k size, i stated the actually size of the tires, i also wanted to back the guy up since ****** like you were saying he was speaking with attitude when in reality, it wasnt rude at all. enough of this, i have better things to do than to keep replying to retards on h-t.

you're right. this is pointless to argue about. is it that hard to search ap1 s2k tire size on google? i doubt it'd take you no more than 1 min. and what do you know. it says it right there in the first result. furthermore, if he simply searched the forum he'd have found the answer he was looking for. because i found it by searching. whether he was giving an attitude or not is beyond the point here and is arbitrary. it's surprising how ppl can't even admit their wrong. well since the op hasn't comment it seems like we're done here..

AFAIK you need to run 4 fronts all round to fit S2k wheels onto a Prelude...

Afew people have done that and have been ok. I notice afew others have stated that aswell, i think that would be your best option.
