you try calling up your local high-performance shops to see if they have one for sale or at the very least let your borrow/rent one?

if you have proof of purchase you can order a spare for $35, you need a scanned receipt. contact aspecproducts.

Anyway, i got 12 point i think 3/16s socket and bashed it on the lug with a hammer, then used an impact and it came off

yeah, I don't think you used a 3/16 (.1875") socket, had to be something else

you can try and get a replacement key but like on mcgaurd you need the key code # on the warranty registration form if not they do not know which key to send you. but since you have a flat get it to a shop they can extract the lock . we have a set of wheel lock removal sockets and it works pretty good and just leaves minor scratches on the lock and are still useable if the key is found!

go to a wheel shop, most of them have a jammer type of lug, they just jam that bastard in and pull it off, it should grips on most of the lugs
