How to paint valve covers
I don't know if there is a thread on it, just know that there are showoff threads and competitions of which is nicest. I know that if I want to get the stock OE look I should go with VHT wrinkle paint, but I just want to paint it silver, and Mark suggested I use VHT (which color of silver I don't know) but I want it to look clean. Any methods on how to paint, i.e. the setup I would appreciate it. I just want to know what it involves, like sanding, what types of grit, etc etc

How to
1- strip (sand/aircraft stripper/however you want)
2- Prime (whatever primer you want (self etching is probably the best choice for raw metal), if you want to prime.)
3- Paint (whatever method you want, rattle can engine enamal/brake caliper paint/ automotive paint etc)
Pretty self explanitory
