Default 92-96 smoked tail lights (searched)

I know there is a HOW-TO somewhere on how to make your own smoked tail lights from your stock ones. Anyone know how to do this? I know it's a PITA, and it requires an oven, but correct me if I'm wrong

that's not for the smoked tail lights, that's just to remove the amber color.

don't be a newb, open up your tail light, spray some night shade or some stuff in there and see how it turns out. You can also night shade the outside, one or the other.

I did a single coat on the outside and they look awesome. I've also done full black outs that look pretty good, but they'll get more attention from cops

I think that if it get's to the point that it's hard to see that you're braking or tail lights are on.. it shouldn't be done... IMHO

thanks & just because someone doesn't know stuff about something, doesn't mean they are just stupid. Many people join these forums to get help for their hondas, not to bash people for being stupid about their hondas.

I am going to niteshade my tails when I get home. The tails on my truck are smoked. The paint doesn't make it harder to see, it really makes it easier. It makes the light actually seem brighter.

um, well if I knew everything about cars, then I wouldn't have to think a little? I really have only seen it done once about 2 years ago, and I don't quite recall on how to do it, I've been rotting in iraq, so yeah. Regardless, you insinuated that I was, and if someone has no idea how to do something, how is "thinking a little" going to make the idea just POP in my head instantly when I have no idea where to start. Okay.

I get to do this when I get back from Afghanistan this weekend, yay.

Are you wanting to smoke the inside or outside? If doing the outside clean the lens off and spray light coats. Letting each coat dry before doing the next when until you get it as dark as you want. You can clear coat it also, but I never did mine and have that dull look, which is fine with me.

The outside is easiest to do. I haven't seen one painted on the inside, only on the outside.
