iacv swap question
Yes i know search, well i tryed and it would take me like 3 years to read every topic that involved iacv problems. Therefore i am asking directly to all you lovely fantastic honda tech people for direct help.
ok vehicle: 1993 civic dx
engine: 1997 b18b obd2 engine, obd1 dist
engine harness: 1995 integra ls
first ls swap into a eg civic, so im not sure if missed something, but i am having problems with my iacv, engine is surging and CEL came on, so therefore checked code and it was code 14 iacv. so without trowing away 100 bucks i wanna see if anyone has had a problem as such after this swap, or if i missed something that needs to be done. etc... just look for options to check out. i also looked into the obd2/obd1 manifold to see if any difference in iacv but their the same, so there went that idea.

when the idle is going up and down like that it means extra air is getting in to you manifold.. and that the iacv opening and closing.. its seams to be working.. do this .. take teh vacuum hose of the manifold that goes to the brake booster and put you finger on it.. see if that does anything.. when you pull the line of the engine is going to rev up some so do it fast..
you can do this to all your vacuum lines one by one to test them.. except map sensor you can't disconnect that one when engine is running.
also your idle screw can be opened too much..
