Any concerns with a salvaged title....
Alright, i am thinking about selling my 1997 type R in order to get myself in something alittle less looked at by thieves. I found a 2001 SSM S2000 with 50k miles, salvaged. It was supposedly parked at the time of accident, which i believe since the airbags aren't deployed. Im not 100 percent on this yet, so still need to carfax and if i get real serious ill be having Honda do a FULL point inspection. Anything else you guys can tell me? Anyone ever dealt with a salvaged title S2000 or any salvaged Honda for that matter?

i would find out what got hit and what was replaced... i know mine has a replaced 1/4 panel on it from IDK when but there are no issues with mine.
but mine is clean title..... that car might be salvaged jsut because the bumper was hit and replaced...
some insurance companies will salvage a car just for minor bangs...

ABSOLUTELY, that helps alot. thats basically what ive read from searching archived on "salvaged" that not always will a insurance company salvage a car for 50 percent or more of the current value... I guess the suspension was replaced and all. So it seems to be done correctly.... we will see

good luck.. either way you will love it.. altho i miss my RS at times...

Pick up a Honda Body Manual for the S2000 for about $15-20. Have a competent bodyshop crossmeasure all the frame points, if you want to be ****.
