Default Radio error

I have a 2003 Civic 1.4 with a type A radio installed. My battery recently died and after recharging the radio asked for a security code which was entered incorrectly for a number of times. An 'ERR' message now appears on the radio which I can't seem to clear. Any ideas how to fix this so that I can reinput the security code?

Take it to the dealer and have them give you the code, if you do not have it. It should be on a little card that came with the owners manual.

unplug your backup fuse (under hood fuse box) for about a minute then try to enter the right code again.
If not get the serial # off of the radio and proof that you own the car then i'll get it for you.
