I have a 95 civic dx wth and ex intake manifold and one cat on the header and one on the exhaust. I gutted the one on the header to try and fix the problem. The car has been bogging like crazy and I cant figure out what the problem is. Anyone have any advice as to what might be the problem?

 

u don't give too much info. when did the car start bogging? after u did the intake manifold swap? or after u gutted the cat? u have 2 cats?

 

It has been bogging ever since we put the motor in... The intake manifold was on the car when we swapped the motor. The stock cat is on and has crap in it, but the one on the header is gutted . That didnt stop the bogging like i would have hoped. It bogs really bad when i shift into second gear. Mainly in low RPMs

 

why the hell do you have 2 cats?

are you throwing any cells?

 

2 cats? don't think so

if its boggin, might be something with the intake manifold u put on, put ur stock one back on and see what happens.
