tig... day 2
here is my second day welding mild and stainless, my brother is a welder and was giving me lots of tips.. wanted to see if you guys have any as well.

the color was the same.. i used a scotchbright pad on the bottom and it made it silver so you could bearly see there was a weld there.
Looks heavily undercut in some areas. Also, don't see much of a bead profile. In all honesty though, the pic is just too far away to really say much about it. The metal has a strange surface to it, so it adds to the difficulty. What does your penetration look like from the inside?

It looks like it's just a fuse weld. But looks like a good start

I was going to say the same thing. Very undercut in some areas. Either you are using no filler material or you are using a very thin gauge and not enough. Looks good for just getting started.
this was done with very little filler.. i'll post some new welds up later.. I think the pictures make it look more undercut than it is on the right side though.. the center is even or a little above.
