Well, the other day my older brother told me about a CRX his gf's friend had for sale. It was an 88 Si with 175,000 on it. So i told him to let me know a price and what not. So today he finally brought it over my house after he paid the $100 for it. It is riced out to no end. But i always wanted a crx

Brand new aftermarket cat-back exhaust
Racing Steering Wheel

BAD:
RUST!!!
Bad paint
broken window
ignition needs to be fixed
No center console
dashboard and door panels painted white
no rear interior
Alteeza taillights
no intake

For now this is a good start for this project. I want to get it on the road A.S.A.P to use it as a DD till i can get my hatch running perfect. But for now heres some pics of when i first rolled it in the garage and some after a couple hours of work.

Bring it back from the land of the dead! Everyone seems to be trashing these things and then just junking them because noone wants to pay their price they have on it. CRX's are becoming a rarity, atleast non b16 ones :-p ( not hating)

Yea thats true...and im hoping i will be able to. With some TLC and soem parts it should be fine. And i dont take that as you hatin. I just cant find a good enough deal on a nice b16 yet. So ill rock the single for now

UPDATE!
Put some del sol seats in it for right now. Drove it a little bit. The front end needs alignment real bad. Dash is out and door panels will be off tomorrow. I need to get a carpet and pretty much a full interior in it. Body work will be done by my older brothers body shop and it will get painted there. Im thinking of putting it back to black like it originally was. Ordering some parts tomorrow. Hopefully some bushings, short shifter and header. For now, thats all there is. I spent most of the day working on my hatch. So yea give me some love or hate for this 100 project

 

IMO I would hold off on the short shifter and pickup some interior for that beast heh. Good luck with her. The honda gods commend you for attempting to nurturing it back to health

yea the altezzas are gonna be gone as soon as i get some 90-91 tails. I hate the look of the 88-89 lights. But today i worked on my hatch some more and then starting putting tags on all the wires from the dash when i pulled it out. I put my type r shift **** in it for now cuz it didnt have one and i found out that the car has shitty APC coilovers on it. GOod Struts tho. I should be going to a junkyard to strip this one 90 they have there for the bumpers, interior, hood latch and two crx si wheels. I have four of them already so getting two more for spares wont hurt. Ill get some pics of the car tomorrow. Its too damn cold

EDIT: The car also has shifter bushings on it. I knew the shifter felt a lot smoother then my hatch's.

UPDATE!!!!
found something i didnt like today.....i checked the plugs on the motor and they are all covered in oil. Like puddles of it. But its not smoking so i dont understand wats with all the oil. Ummm i noticed the suspension is in really good shape so if i dont keep the rex ill definitely borrow **** from it for my hatch. but i got the interior completely out and threw my momo seat in it for now. I used a customized corbeau bracket for an eg to bolt the seat in. I run the car everyday for a couple minutes to keep the motor in decent running shape. and everytime i see the body i want to kick the previous owner right in the nuts!! But heres some pics of the rex and a few with my hatch. I fit both cars into my ghetto *** one car garage
