coolant smell when car is started

When I start my car I can smell coolant and the coolant level has went down some. Do you think this could be the headgasket (less than a year ago I put in a new radiator, hoses and thermostat)

lmao...seriously...that was no help...you dont even know if thats the setup he has already...yea man, my guess would be a leak but not sure....maybe its a small leak thats landing on the piping and as it heats up, thats whats causin the smell.

as for the rest all good advice but my friend had the same problem on his car and i ended up having to change his head gasket!
but leak down would be good first and go from there.....
