Default Exactly what rim is this ?

Hey all...

Can anyone say which rim this is ? manufacturer and name ?

It is a 15 x 6.5, 45 offset universal, 4 x 114.3 and 4 x 100 I think and very light.

Also is it supposed to have a centercap when brand new ?

that looks like a civic HX wheel. look at the backside of the wheel, and on one of the spokes it should say who did the casting. Enkei makes a lot of honda's wheels...

They are defenitely not HX rims as they are 15's. They are not marked Honda on the back... only "japan", some symbols, the other numbers like diameter, width and offset.

*edit* the offset is 45.

Never heard of 'weds' ?

Someone is now PMing me that they are enkei rims... which would make sense as they same symbol appearing in the pic is on my 98 ITR rims.

those symbols that appear on japanese wheels are inspection by the association call JAWA. all wheels that come out of japan will have those symbols.

Yeh... was just about to point that out.

I found the 'weds' wheels on the net and they all seem to be 8 spoke. although these rims are 7 spoke, the look is similar, so is the weight.

The net says wed TC-05 rims are 10.2 lbs for the 15" and my home scale says these are approx 11 lbs.

There are a couple other symbols on the back of the rim... anything in particular to look for ?

Nah.. .those enkeis are different, but a local guy is selling a set of those in 14"... I looked on the back of the rim and nothing... maybe I need to bring a wirebrush to clean up the back end...

Anyone else find them familiar ?
