95 accord clutch pedal
i don't know how do i go about asking this but.. yes on newers car that ive driven at work thats stick. theres like no pedal play or slack.. like if u floor the clutch u can bring it all the way out.. on my cars that i owned. i can rest my feet on the clutch and the pedal will go about 2-5 inches in.. on newer cars the peda is stiff as quit if i rest my feet it just stay right there..
all the cars i've owned if u try to rest ur feet on the clutch the clutch has a slack of 5-6 inches and than if u push a lil more u start disengaging the clutch..
is there a way i can stop this or its normal.. i don't think its air in the hydraulic system because MC and slave was changed and bleed even i bleed it so more so thats the max pressure i'm gonna get.. maybe change pedals? or even the spring? or its all about the metal on the clutch?
on the hydraulic system you could maybe adjust the rod that is attached to the clutch pedal arm to change the engagement point. Not sure if that answers your question.
It's not usually a good idea to ride with your foot resting on the clutch pedal though.

have no idea what ur talkin about.. mine got a huge slack.... if i adjust it that way it might get rid of the slack but it will make the clutch engage high and i don't want that..
well i got a mechanic to look at it he said.. its my clutch.. clutch does slips on certain days lol
he said its something with the pressure plate thats why it doesn't feel stiff and have like huge slack before it gets a lil bit stiff..
