yeah i planning to do a head conversion with a y8 but can anyone tell me the differences on the z6 conversion and the y8 because im pretty much following the z6 mini me directions do to the lack of sites found on a6 to y8s.

 

With the Y8 you will be able to use the A6 distributor without modification with the Z6 you will need to modify the dizzy to fit. Also if you use the Y8 intake manifold you will have to relocate the intake air temperature sensor into the intake arm because the Y8 manifold doesn't have a place for it.

 

i am doing this swap too and not to thread jack, but what would the benefits be of using the y8 intake mani with throttle body over my stock one?
