you are probably going to get flamed here on HT for wanting a carbon hood just for the look. Just giving you the heads up. I wouldnt do it unless you REALLY want it because carbon hoods tend to fade out.

You cant see it at all. I say only do it if you run your car at the track and are looking to shave time off of your....time. Hmm that sounded werid lol.

what would matter if u could see it or not...unless ur just putting it on for "looks" rather then the fact that it weighs less then ur stock hood

i had a carbon fiber hood on my black coupe and honestly I like the stock hood better, so I put the carbon fiber hood on my race car. saved me a couple of lbs

^^^hot...

Anyone have some rough figures on how much an average CF hood actually weighs vs a stock hood? preferably for an EG so the OP can benefit from this thread instead of everyone just bashing him...

I think CF looks good, and I also think it is a good idea to save some LBS... and to all the peeps who say that you shouldnt do any given mod because its only for looks... thats just HT hater-ism AND irony at it finest.

CF hoods that aren't completely CF weigh like 20 lbs... your stock hood is like 50. Get the hood
