i got one wired up but i cant seem to figureout how to make it chirp when the car is locked/unlocked.. besides that everything is wired correctly.

 

It will be in programing, "chirp defeat" is off, needs to be programed to on.
If you do not have a manual, go here... http://www.karrsecurity.com/request.htm and request one or a description of how to program chirp on. 94

 

i used to work for south west dealer services, which is the company that makes the alarms, they are located in Velencia CA right by six flgs magic mountain, what color is the alarm led? blue, red, or green? i have all the owners mauels for all three alarms. IF its blue its a 4040 it needs a chip to be correctly activated, if its red its a ks240 and it has remotes that go along with it, if its green its a ex-1 which is an upgraged to a factory alaram.....im guessing its red or blue though. let me know and i can tell you how to turn on the horn feture.

 

Hi! I just have the KARR LX-1 installed by a south west dealer as an upgrade to my 07 Odyssey EX manufacturer theft deterrent system and was wondering if it can be programmed to chirp when the alarm engages or disengage. I can go back to the dealer but I would rather do it if I can do it myself to save time and hassle of driving back to the dealer. Can you let me know how to turn on the horn feature or send me a manual if there's any?

My Toyota Corolla has the KARR with a Red light and is giving me 1 chirp and 2 shirp for engaging and disengaging the alarm. I hope I can do this on my honda.
