itr pistons ls/vtec
not askin the usual question, how much power, how fast, im not a retard, but i am a noob, and well is there clearance enough to have
itr pistons
97 gsr head no millin stock cams
b18a1 bottom end no milling or decking, just rebuild and slap the pistons in and slap the gsr head on top
are the pistons going to hit the valves, or am i going to have to clay the motor to find out, thanks

compression height hasnt changed much, rod length stays the same, gasket thickness is at OEM, deck probably wont go down more than .003 if you deck the block....... yeah, your more than fine.
Whatever you do get it tuned don't run a stock GSR map. Your compression is going to be pretty high and GSR maps are very agressive.
yea im pickin up a p72 and s200 with boost, for 350 this comin weekend, so hopefully i can get a tuner that knows how to use hondata for a cheap price, now even if i change the gsr maps i can still use the gsr iab's right?

Clearance isn't going to be a problem. But, since you'll be pulling the motor apart, why not learn something? It wouldn't take you more than 60-90 minutes to clay the motor and see exactly how much clearance you DO have. When you decide to go with larger cams, you'll already know how much clearance you have.
