Default Re-routing Breather Kit Filter to Remote Location???

The open-to-the-atmosphere breather on my Endyn can really stinks up the cabin of the car..I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about.
Would I lose any effectiveness of the setup running the filter itself to a remote location, like in a fenderwell?

Keep the can itself in the same location to allow for the drainback etc, just run a line to the filter not as close to the firewall? Once the new motor is in, I'll have the valvecover venting to another Endyn can.
