Default Post your aftermarket seat/harness setup

The reason I'm asking for pictures is I'd like to see how most people on here mount their harnesses for their aftermarket seats. I know the correct way is to strap it to a roll bar/cage but what if you have neither? I've see people put the eye bolt on the floor where the rear seats go but is that safe? I'd like to see some interior shots of some aftermarket seats with some sort of harnesses. I'd hate to spend money on seats and drive with a stock belt so if thats the case I'll just go with some ITR seats. Thanks

well see thats the thing, i really have no major need for a roll bar or cage. i just thought stock seat belts would look funny on a set of memoryfab, brides, recaro's or w/e. i wouldn't mind seeing some pictures of stock belts as well

here are the setups ive gone through......
usdm srd with sparco crap harnesses.

usdm srd with takatas

jdm srd with takata

current(not finished)
bride zeta II bucket and a takata

i havent used stock seatbelts in my cars for years by choice . i dont run airbags and feel much safer being strapped in with a 5 point.

but there is nothing wrong using stock seatbelts with any of those seats. hell the srd's came stock in the jdm ctr and itr with stock seatbelts.

I rock the stock with my Recaro's I wouldn't run a fixed seat without a roll bar. If you do roll in it, that seat will most likely not collapse. A reclinable seat with a stock seatbelt is best IMHO without a rollbar in a street car .

Meh. Who needs a harness?
I use a CG Lock. You can see it hanging on the buckle. It does the job just fine.

thanks to Daishi for the pic.
