HX Sway Bar onto a DX
I have everything "needed" to install an HX swaybar onto my 98 DX Civic.
- HX arms
- HX swaybar
- endlinks
- and u clamps and bushings
My question is: does my DX have the same subframe as an HX? Will I need to tap holes into my subframe to accept the u clamps and bushings or are they tapped already?
It's 28 degrees out and snowing so i can't check

i didn't know that hx's came with swaybars. and if so, why would you put on a hx one.
and to answer your question, no. should be straight bolt on. the sub-frames are the same.

the HX swaybar was cheaper than any Si or CTR, the arms are more readily avail., the HX bar is 22mm and i have no use for an overkill 26mm sway bar.
and lastly.. the si/ctr arms are not compatible with traction bars and i plan on using them in the future.
thanks guys!
