****Need pics of roll cage going threw dash board****
Well I'm putting the rollcage in the car and need some input on the cage going threw the dash. I got some ideas but wanted to see how other people are running them.
Car is a 95 eg hatch 10pt cage for SFWD. Thanks for your help.

I do not have any pictures of that car but I can tell you the best way is to trim the dash to slide in once the cage is in. That will allow you to pull the dash later if needed. Fit the bars as tight as you can to the A-pillar and it will be a cinch to install dash. Trim sparingly and check often of fit.
Hope that helps!

Thanks a lot gor the help. I hope somebody can help me out with pics that way i can see exactly what you mean. I know what you are are trying to explain but the pics would be great. I was thinking running them threw the little vent hole on the dash but like you said i wont be able to pull out the dash later if i wanted too. Thank you and keepm coming
cagedruss worded what I would have said pretty well. here's a couple pictures of the way I like cages coming out. (in an eg) i first notch out the drivers side and then take out everything in front of the a-pillar tube on the passenger side..

How hard was it to put the dash back in??? That thing looks nice. What is a fair price to install a cage?. I have the Chassis Engineering kit 10pt, the car is all stripped and dash is out.

You have got to be kidding me. With the a-pillar bars like that it must have been easy as hell to put the dashboard back in....

I would say you are SOL trying to get your kit that close to the A-pillars with out a Tube bender and some new tubing. Like I stated in Big Toms thread, kits are generic and fit a wide variety of cars.

These guys who put it through a hole arent staying close enough to the pillar and firewall. In my cage we also went through the firewall off where the A pillar/floor bar/dash bar meets</TD></TR></TABLE>
Can you post pics of your cage?. I would like to see it.

Can you post a picture threw the windshield to see how it looks on the other side of the cage. To see how much you trimed out to fit the cage. Thank you.
