ok so im not sure whats goin on if its just a sensor or what but heres the deal.
im driving yesterday and i notice the brake light randomly pop on for about 30 seconds then go off. i think hmm werid but it went away oh well. later on it keeps doing it throughout the day, but it always goes off after around 30 seconds. do you think theres something wrong with my brakes or is it just a sensor and how could i fix it if it is just a sensor and if not what do you think it would be, my brakes are soild and i dont FEEL any problems but then again that doesnt really mean ****

There are some common and easy-to-fix issues with the brake light switch on the pedal. That's the first thing you should look at. Search for "Brake light" and you'll see plenty of threads about people's brake lights sticking on and draining the battery that will show you what to look for.
Check the level of fluid in the master cylinder reservoir. Low fluid will cause the brake idiot light to illuminate. Low fluid level could be caused by worn pads and/or rotors combined with an insufficient fluid reserve (just add a little fluid, and/or plan for a brake job), or could also be caused by a leak in the system (serious! dangerous!).
If the fluid level is good, check the switch on the e-brake handle.

I think he's talking about the idiot light in the cluster.

Not unless a short circuit or bad ground is causing electrical issues.
