Default F22b Vs. H23a

Im trying to fugure out the differences between the f22b and the h23, im aware that the f22b is a replacment engine but does it have more or less horsepower and torque and is it worth getting when it come to boosting or hybrids such as an h22 head. im considering getting one as a replacement for my h23.

the h23 has more displacement than the f22b. the f22 b only has a 85mm bore and has a 95mm stroke. You might want to check the FAQ and look for piratemcfred's thread on his g23 build. he ultimately replaces his h23 head with a f22b head. if i recall correctly he liked the f22b head better than the h23 head

all in all a newer motor will perform better but you will have alittle less hp and trq due to the loss in displacement
