Default is this possibole

some friend say he have :

own a 1999 Honda Civic Original S.i.R with a B16A3 engine . it has all the bits and pieces u might think of . Eagle stroker kit with 12.5:1 compression ration , ported and polished head , titanium valves , crower valve sprngs and retainers , Type R highlift cams , Skunk 2 intake manifold , DC sports exhaust manifold and exhaust system , K and N air filter . AEM fuel rail , RC injectors (310 CCs) , AEM fuel pressure regulator , Skunk 2 68mm throttle body and the Engin stroke has reached 2 liter using 84MM pistons instead of the original 81MM and shorter custom made conn rods

my question is : he say he has 310 cc injectors. and have AEM fuel pressure regulator . so what will controle his new ninjectors ?

am i right ?

his ECU would control it. fuel pressure regulators control fuel pressure to the rail, not when the injectors fire.

theres no way to say how much hp to the wheels that setup has... Every engine build is completely different.

well looking at that list i would assume he has a chipped ecu, or a stand alone (maybe piggy back??) running all that on a stock, unmodified ECU seems a bit of a stretch.

as for horsepower, no real way to tell. 2 of the same exact engine rarely have the same horsepower in stock trim, never mind a hooked up and tuned engine. alot would depend on how tuned it is, fuel, exc.

and as for if he is talking crap or has the car, i would say see it before you believe it. anybody can go online, find some part names and say they have a car with said parts, but magically its always "at the shop" or some other excuse.

Ok, I was under the impression that the B16a3 was only in the 94-95 Honda civic del-sol. So if this person has a 1999 civic of any trim with a B series, it should be a B16a2, B16a, 0r B16b, correct? Alot of this seems far-fetched to me. I believe none of what I hear and half of what I see. So prove me wrong please

it does sound far fetch to me as well.

and the only b16a3 was found in the 94-95 del sol's. there is only one 99-00 civic which cam with a b16 and iwas an si which had a b16a2.

there was never a factory usdm b16a or b16b.

Not to thread jack...but why would someone replace the motor in an SIR anyway? Just add the bolt ons and a new prog fuel controller
....that seems more likelyl.
