how can u tell if the clutch is slipping

After you shift and let off the clutch, the engine will rev faster than the car accelerates. If it 's bad, it will feel like you shifted into neutral.

After you let go of the clutch it will still like you have it in.

It will be very obvious to you, you'll feel it. The rpms climb and the car just sits there with no added power, sometimes there will be a funny noise and then you'll feel the clutch finally begin to grab.
