go down to intec and talk to them.
they will do it but is going to cost you hella $
03 civic the swap should be easier then all the other. because the platform is similar to the civic si(02-05)
Talk to chris- he will let you know if they can do it.
Good luck

We can certainly perform the swap for you here. We are actually in the process of finishing one up in our Honda Challenge race car (Placed 2nd in points in 2006 with our fully built B18C).

Ya ya, the car is dirty.

More info here:

Feel free to give me a call if you have any questions:

We're in Bellingham

My recommendation is intec racing.
Call them up. @ 253 872 0872 or go see them in person.
Ask for chris or randy.
They are open 7 days a week.

They have two civics with k series swaps.
They have built several k series motors.

Didn't even know there was a shop in Bellingham let me take that around the campus for a spin haha

Estimates of what a normal shop may charge...

Motor Tranny ECU

K20A RSX Typer R looking at $5900 shipped
K20A2 USDM RSX Type S looking at $4300 shipped

$640 shipped US motor mount kit
$450 shipped axle set
$450 plug and play harness
$500-750 Labor
$ misc. items...

I would guess $6500 would be the low end of puttin the K20A2 in...
Closer to $8500 for JDM version

They have projects booked weeks ahead of time, if you are serious about getting your car done in a timely manner, call or drive down there to schedule it. Its not an online shop, so Emails are not a priority.

No one has done more K-series swaps and serious builds in WA than Intec, and their tuning is bar none.

its almost the only thing i can do... lol i work till 6:00 pm everyday of the week except sundays. and there closed on sundays i belive. ive tried to get there in time, but the last time i did right when i pulled up the guy saw me pull in and turned off the lights...

i hate calling kuzz i know the guys gunna be really busy and probly doesnt wanna do the whole price swap research when he has 4 other things to be doing.. i thought an email would be a little better for them to do on there own time. like when there not busy at that moment.

ill give them a shot. im kinda running through more ideas in my head right now.

... maybe a clean 91 hatch si type R swap? or even with just a b16 lol... still i want a good shop

Just call Intec and ask for Mike. He deals with all the price quotes and that stuff. They are not to busy to talk to you they have two people at the shop that do nothing but answer the phone abd find prices. Intec is open seven days a week now from 1030am to 700pm. Intec is gonna be able to do just about any swap you want. I have been working with them for a while now and their tech Chris is the **** when it comes to building motors and tunning. Also they will keep you in touch throught the whole build they're pretty nice.

I can vouch for Crescent (C-speed). I've known him for years and he's an excellent tuner and very meticulous.
