DOHC non-vtec Civic faster or SOHC vtec civic faster ?
depends............................are both stock?
Are they into lighter cars?
theres a lot of things that you need to factor in.
Then take a poll, but i saw DOHC non-vtec

an eg with the b-series (dohc) will beat a vtec sohc ek stock motor too stock motor.
also depends on if the cars have been lightened or not but stock too stock setup just a swap the eg will win.

defiantly the EG5 would be quicker, ZC DOHC is 130ps, tranny with much better gearing and final drive (some even come with LSD), weight is also lower on the EG hatch (not by much)
EK1 sedan if JDM spec then its three stage vtec 1.5l which lacks the torque, gearing sucks in the EK tranny as well and OBDII is more restrictive
most healthy ZC will put out about 110-118whp and 100-105lbs/ft of torque while the 1.5l will be in 105-115whp and about 90-98lbs/ft of torque.....

Whats the difference between a ZC and a D16B?
Are SOHC vtec comes in 1.5L for a EK in the states?
Cos in Australia, EK sedan comes with a SOHC 1.6L vtec engine.
