Just a quick poll on how much the paperwork fees (Title License Registration) was in your state when you purchased the car.



Taxes unavoidable and variable.

paperwork fees? dont know what that is so im assuming i didnt pay any

i'm assuming you mean TTL (tax, title, license). Right?

 

I believe he means the document fee, and in my area the going rate is ~$170. When I bought my car I refused to pay it and they dropped it for me.

Tax, License, Title, etc are fees that are actually one of the few legit fees that dealers charge. I am not sure how much I paid for them......maybe $75 give or take? I live in WA....and I am pretty sure they are different state to state. Check with your local DOL and find out what is included in a title transfer and new registration. They will tell you how much it should cost.....then compare to dealer.

These fees and destination fees are two that can't be negotiated.

 

$50 bucks here. I really didn't make a big deal about it though.

 

in virginia beach where i live it is going to be $1300 for all the tax title and fees
