I am in the mist of boosting my 1990 integra and I was wondering it I could cut out these black boxes on the ac fan harness?

 

Here's a better idea. Just extend the heck out of the wires and mount these little boxes in a place where they aren't in the way.

However, if you don't need them, then you could probably remove them. I'm almost sure that you had to remove the a/c to install the turbo kit. Just make sure you don't remove the one for the main fan.

 

Yeah...there was no way the the turbo would have fit with the AC, I thought it was going to clear the full rad but, it doesn't so I have to go half rad.

I just thought that someone on here might know what those do, and if I could remove them, I'm pretty sure they are for the AC fan and maybe the AC.

I found what it is in my friends shop manuel.

They are both power relays

- AC condenser

and

- AC compressor clutch


So I think it will be all good to cut them out, because everything that had to do with AC is out of my engine bay now.
