Hi guys,
The lude wont start. All I get from it is the starter clicking but no turning over at all.
1. Tried to jump start the battery thinking the battery was weak but that didn't work.
2. Tried the battery from my 200sx cos I knew that one was good but it still won't turn over.
I'm thinking it could be the starter but if it was would it still click??
Other info:
The main relay is in good condition and can hear the fuel pump going.
The dizzy is brand new from probe.
Any ideas?
ps: read and old post and found that someone had the same problem, basically their crank snapped in 2!

so i am guessing you unhooked some of the wiring. 2 things to check over, ecu ground on the bottom of the thermo housing or the ground wire off of the tranny.

Just an update.
I just got back from holiday so decided to try and start the lude. Same clicking sound.
First I tried to jump start it but still the same clicking sound.
Then I diconnected the starter motor and gave it a quick spin by hand to loosen it. It wasn't very smooth, so I want to know if the motor is supposed to spin very freely?
Once I reconnected it I tried to start it again.. it clicked twice and then a sort of spinning noise like a hairdryer! :?
I'm gonna try a different batter with a jump start to see if I can get enough juice to the motor.
Would this all indicate the starter motor?
BTW it isn't cranking the engine.
Thanks
