Default How to??????

Just curious as to how you mount the rear valences on the teg? What all is required? any modding or is it a direct fit? I've seen the bumper after they are off and it looks like drilling is required to mount. the reason I ask is because I really don't know what is required? All input is appreciated.

When i first had rear valances i used screws to hold them on the bumper. There are brackets on the oem pieces that you can use to put screws in and hold it on the bumper. Unfortunately it was stolen off my car. But the oem pieces do fit right on the bumper, so its a nice fit.

I have bought another set of valances and have had them molded on to my bumper. Someone cant just unscrew them off now. but i'm sure if they want it bad enough they'll find a way to take it.

when i installed mine, it required 1 screw in the back and 2 in the fender. The hardest part is knowing where to drill a hole in the rear dumper to put the screw through.

I used a water based marker and wet the mounting points on the rear valence. I then lined it up with the bumper and press hard until the ink made and impression on the bumper. I was enough to give me an idea where to drill the holes.

Another way is to double sided tape and kind of weaken the ahesive with water on one side. Press the weak side ontot he mounting points on the valence and press it hard against the bumper. The remove it carefully so that the tape is left on the bumper. Use the tape as a reference point to drill the holes.
