Default Viper Alarm

when installed the parking lights and t ail lights would flash while in the remote start mode. After replacing a bad battery it no longer does this. The car still starts in remote start, just no flashing light and no flashing light when the alarm is armed or disarmed.

First check if the parking lights and tail lights flashes when you arm and unarm the alarm, reason is the viper alarms only have one parking light output so if your lights dont flash while remote started it should not flash while its being armed and unarmed; if the parklights do flash when you arm and unarm its most likely an internal defect with the alarm.

So if the lights dont flash at all turn on your parking lights and if they do come on its probaly the fuse for your alarm parking light output, if you kno where your alarm brain is you can trace the white while until you find a 10amp (red) fuse and if thats blown that is your reason why it does not flash. The fuse holder should be within 6inches of the brain.
