sorry, you cannot use one of those for automotive body work. you need to get a DA sander for body filler sanding. Wet sanding is done by a block sander with HANDS.
Palm sanders are designed to work with wood and other such home improvement repairs.
Next time do your research/homework before giving out advice that can ruin someone's car.

You're right. a 50 dollar roll on paint job is already the worst you can do as in painting a car, why not add this sander to the mix. It's not like a car owner would give a damn, he's rolling paint on his car! ghetto car owners

Why not try a project like this if your paint sucks? If it turns out crappy, just re-sand and take it to maaco. Not everyone can throw down $2k for a paint job.
It's just a temporary thing for most guys here.

i got one free, tried it on the hood. it's ok, not good for curved panels and stuff. your hands are your best tool.

definantly wouldnt recommend this for an automobile. so ur gonna use this to wetsand jus cause ur a little lazy. if ur too lazy to wetsand than u dont want a good paintjob. and if u dont want a good paintjob what is the sense in painting
