noise under car in the rear

noise under car in the rear

Whenever I drive, sometimes I would hear a loud grating sound coming from the back of the car. When I brake, the car would stop making the sound but the sound would start right back up after that. I changed the brake pads but its still making the sound. What could the problem be?
